It’s funny. I’ve been doing wedding ceremony music (mostly with violin) for about 20 years. I would do a few a year. They go well and I’d get paid. Then I would drive home thinking, “Weddings are great. It was cool to be a part of it.” So finally I’m trying to get more weddings to play. Pass it on. I’m doing weddings. I sometimes team with my talented daughter for two violins or violin and cello or guitar, but lately we’ve added dj service. But more on that another day.
So for you…there might be something you already do that you could enjoy doing more. Ask yourself, “Is there something I enjoy that someone could pay you to do.” Then spread the word.
